  1. Some more things to add;

I've had my current vehicle for almost 4 years - times washed = 3

I bought my house 3 years ago - times watering the lawn = 0

    - times pulling weeds and other wild flowers = 0 (it looks much better in it's natural state anyway)

My parents are the same as yours Paan. "Yay we filled a blue box in 2 months"

Every 2 weeks when I go to the dump we have 1 bag of garbage and 2 blue boxes. Also many pails of composting. My dad likes composting for his flower beds but my mom hates the mice that it brings (hehehe)

  2. The Widespread Panic Flyaway Contest (the "Contest") is open to legal U.S. residents (except for residents of Rhode Island) who are at least 13 years old by February 15, 2005 (“Contestants”).

I guess Rhode Island is the Quebec of the States.

  3. Best news ever... Hockey sucks, the owners and players are both retarded and greedy... Seriously, I couldn't be more happy at this moment...

It's also great for all the small business and restaurant's that depend on the crowds to stay in business (and of course all the people making minimum wage ushering people to their seats).

  4. Don't get me wrong, i know it's a good first step, but not having the States and China included really hurts the cause.

Also Canada has apparently gone back on what emission's it had promised to (see below)

"the emission targets for large Canadian polluters have been cut back from the original federal plan that was unveiled in 2002"

"Ottawa's initial plan, unveiled in 2002, required large industrial emitters to cut back by 55 megatonnes as part of an overall 240 megatonne target.

But sources tell CBC News that the new deal lowers that to between 40 and 45 megatonnes."

  5. "In France, which recently introduced legislation limiting the work week to 35 hours, men and women workers put in 1,656 hours in 1997 versus 1,810 in the 1980s. In Germany (Western), the annual total of working hours was just under 1,560 in 1996 versus 1,610 in 1990 and 1,742 in 1980"

French MP's voted this down last week and changed it from 35 hours/week to 48 hours/week for private companies.

  7. fu©k the internet. its a fantasy land where people get way too caught up in what others say and do.

i know full well of the incident you speak of and believe me this sh!t goes away if you let it. how many times have we scoffed at zero/kung for retreating......several. it solves nothing and causes an out pouring of why's and what the fu©k's which cause speculation which is bad.

big effin deal if people say what they say, fu©k it. fu©k it all to hell. if you would be cowardly enough to tuck tail and run everytime there's adversity, than the events leading up to the 'event' or whatever you'd like to call it were wrong to begin with. stand by your actions, stand by your words and stand by your feelings, tactfully.

    TOO MUCH DRAMA!!!!!!!

In all fairness schwa,I know this has nothing to do with anything on this board. All I can & will say.

Just curious, but why leave the board then?
