  7. Reed Mathis on bass this time. Tea Leaf Trio are supposed to open for Mickey at most of the summer shows.
  8. In the Spectator today: http://www.thespec.com/whatson-story/3844478-grateful-dead-drummer-here-for-festival-of-friends/ I was hoping to see all the headliners announced today.
  9. Haven't seen it yet but here's a link to the current and future showings: http://www.levonhelmfilm.com/see-the-film.php and the facebook site has frequent updates: https://www.facebook.com/LevonHelmFilm?fref=ts
  10. Tonight and tomorrow night at 6:30 pm and Thursday afternoon at 3:30 pm. It opened Friday and I hadn't even heard about it! http://bloorcinema.com/movies/Aint-In-It-For-My-Health-A-Film-About-Levon-Helm/
  11. Some followup info from Mickey: The MHB is excited to announce our new album “SUPERORGANISMâ€, due out August 13th. This time we journey into the micro, the hidden worlds of rhythm within us, within our bodies. The brain, Rhythm Central, the place of dreams is explored. My brain wave signals are reimagined in sound using a cap with electrodes that can read the throbs and signals of the brain. I have also sonified the sounds of stem cells, and heart rhythms for this recording. We will be performing SUPERORGANISM in your town real soon. Robert Hunter has once again written lyrics. Reed Mathis from Tea Leaf Green will be joining our little family this tour on bass. Reed will be performing double duties, as the “Tea Leaf Trio†will be opening the majority of the dates on the SUPERORGANISM tour. We will also have special guests joining us every night of the tour. TBA Dates for the tour are below. A portion of the ticketing fees from the tickets sold on my website go to Music Therapy Research. We pulse, we throb, and we are a comin your way. Please, "Mind your heads people, mind your heads"!!! Onward, Mickey
  12. Mickey will be releasing Superorganism any day now. Last year's release Mysterium Tremendum had some great cuts, some written by Robert Hunter. Here's a Mickey Hart Band's Playing in the Band from earlier this year:
  13. Sunday, August 11 http://mickeyhart.net/shows/ I'm told Joan Osborne will appear too but I don't know if its the same night as Mickey. Mickey will also be at The Town Ballroom in Buffalo on Tuesday,August 13.
  14. My mistake- there are show passes with camping away from your car still on sale. Its the parking next to your car passes that are soldout.
  15. I bought a "Pretty Early" 3 day pass (show only,no camping) for Mountain Jam in Hunter,NY June 7,8,9 for $ 180 US that I'd like to sell due to developing circumstances. 2 headline sets each of Widespread Panic on Friday,Gov't Mule on Saturday,Phil and Friends on Sunday. Lots of other great bands. Here's the lineup: http://lineup.mountainjam.com/events/2013/06/06/?alldays=1 $180 CAD if you're interested and you should know camping is sold out at the festival grounds. These tickets are currently $ 200.00 US plus service charge and $ 215.00 US on day of show. I paid 190.19 CAD after service charge and exchange.
  16. You're welcome! FYI the service charge is $16 per ticket with this presale and they HAVE to be picked up at will call.
  17. Neil Young's site presale in 15 minutes. http://tix.concertmaps.com/neilyoung/ Its quite possible that service charges are cheaper at the Hamilton on sale locations as opposed to Ticketmaster or this presale.
  18. Only 200 tickets http://www.levonhelm.com/midnight_ramble.htm
  19. June 4,5,6 Sullivan Hall http://www.ticketweb.com/snl/VenueListings.action?venueId=23837&pl=cegsullivan
  20. The fox showed fear so I really don't think its rabid. I've seen lots of foxes during daylight.
