That's awesome!!!
You should bring your bacon arms poem and throw it to them onstage...they could make a song out of it!

He's pretty good, catch's on quick. Are you sure you're not an alternate ego come back to take over the board and destroy us all?
I got suspicious when he knew about Lazlo and Heady Epic.

I worked in the Village at Blue Mountain last summer and the best things I found were the Triumph pizza at the Original Motorcycle Cafe. This pizza has barbecue chicken, four kinds of cheese, carmelized onions and hot peppers on it...nearly orgasmic! They also have a kickass breakfast.
There's also a couple bars in the Village, there's an Irish type one, I forget the name of it but the village isn't big so you can find it. They had a great selection of beer and live music that was actually good. Oh yeah, the crowning glory was the patio that you could smoke on!
If you don't go to the beach while you're there then you should be shot and I will be allowed to come take your place. I love the beach.
If you need wi-fi when you're there go to William's Coffee Pub which is in Collingwood proper. Oh yeah and if you get a sushi craving the grocery store that's by the LCBO actually doesn't do too bad of a job.
I miss Collingwood.

Hey Freak, since you wrote that sentence in purple wouldn't that mean the purple font doesn't mean sarcasm?

My siblings and I had the Chipmunks Christmas album. It's the only kids music I remember being around my house.

the entire grease soundtrack.
I didn't know you were gay!
I stood up and sang "We're Not Going To Take It" by Twisted Sister in church when I was three, so I guess I really liked that song. I do remember singing it in Daddy's T-bird. We were such a quintessential eighties family.

It's pretty rare that a crowd can ruin a show for me. Unless I am personally offended by someone, ie. slimy come-ons that aren't funny or violence than the crowd can't wreck a show. I can just ignore them and concentrate on the tunes. However, an awesome crowd at a bad show can make it all worthwhile. If the band completely lacks talent but the crowd is super friendly and just wants to dance and have a good time with everyone present than it doesn't really matter if the band can only play two chords and is tone deaf, it'll still be a good night.
Personally, I like outdoor shows the best. Being able to appreciate music and nature simultaneously is heaven. I also like having a lot of space to dance, I hate having people in my bubble. Mind you, I think everything is better outside, the three f's of human instinct especially!

Toronto crowds do suck! For concerts or tiny acts the people tend to be overly reserved to the point of being cold. I remember seeing ABB and getting funny looks from people for dancing up on the grass at Molson Amphitheatre, WTF!!!
The whole 'we're too cool to clap' mentality blows donkey sacks.
The best Toronto crowds were ones filled with us hicks from outside the city that emigrated for a night of mayhem.
Sorry darlins, but rednecks are waaaaaaay more fun!

I'm riding the coattails of yesterday's qotd! I want to know what your favourite concert or show was.
For me, a show isn't just about the band, it's about the place, the people you're with and more esoteric (I'm not sure if that's the right word but it's six am and I still haven't slept so I'm using that as an excuse for a deficient vocabulary) things like the vibe and the point in time.
My favourite show was when Truths and Rights played at Izzy's. That was one of those perfect moments in my life that I will remember until the day I die.
