guigsy reported that the meet and greet in Ottawa was also awkward and weird.

I assume they have left lots of dates open to add shows based on popularity in certain markets - and obviously for rest. I can't imagine them only playing one gig in California or avoiding the NYC (NJ) market entirely. I seem to recall that their last tour looked like this at first, but dates were added to fill in the gaps.

Charles Barkley mentioned that the NCAA should move the Final Four tournament this weekend.
Good on Wilco, but Barkley's suggestion would really have generated some response/ discourse.

I'll be the dick who points out that it's actually hyun-day, not hyun-die.
Well done

Yes, so annoying. If I had known I could have waited for the repress to show up on amazon and saved the $20+ in shipping.
-
I'd love to know who else was in that class at Ashbury College. It is a private school favored by diplomats and politicians in the swanky part of Ottawa - not far from 24 Sussex Dr.

We cancelled the hotels and booked an RV when no reasonable transport to and from the hotel could be secured.
The hotels I stay in have beds too. Weeeiiiirrrdddd.
I still need an RV pass!

Beirut is a phenomenal live act. Do not miss it!

I wouldn't be surprised to see him pack it in over the next couple of years. He has climbed to the peak and has nothing left to accomplish. That coupled with the total overabundance of festivals must make this very frustrating for him. I do think however that his statement about the exchange rate is a bit boo hoo, he has been running a festival for nearly 2 decades (ok I will give him the benefit of the doubt that it has been less than a decade of superstar programming) during which currency exchange has been predictably unpredictable.
-
Thanks Mark, that is one more thing to cross off of my "Things I really miss about Ottawa" list.

Dr Dog, Trombone Shorty and Chris Robinson Brotherhood were just announced at a festival in northern Mass on Saturday July 11.
Puts them in line and on time with a Bluesfest appearance.

Please if anyone hears of a GA RV pass for sale put them in touch with me. I will pay a premium.
This is my god damned bachelor party, there is no way in hell I am sleeping in a tent.
-
I served it up and you knocked it out of the park Booche. Thank you.
BTW I'm up to 75 shows now. What a freaking moron!
-
New Year; same old bullshit.....
I had 3 devices going right at noon and only managed to score GA tickets. Glen Close was sold out immediately.
Who has my heady RV pass?
-
Back to Alpine - nice!
See y'all at Watkins Glen.

Hyundai and back don't rhyme. You'd have to change it up:
Hundred dollar hood
On my brokedown Hyundai
Mirror’s dusted up so
You know I'm getting high

But then I stopped myself from clicking the pay link and spending over $100 (tax, exchange shipping)
It came to $123 US (shipping was $32!), but luckily PayPal was a payment option and I have lots of idle 'cash' sitting in that account.
-
I will but the $150 price tag is not pleasing.
The Phish are really making a cash grab out of their vinyl releases.
It's a good thing that Hood is worth about $100 alone!

I'm a collector and have everything he has put out (except the unrelenting 7" series) so I had to have this.
TBH it will get as much play as Live After Deaf around here, which isn't a tonne- but if I didn't have it, the missing set would eat away at me.

I'm guessing nothing which would be a shame, those dead 'other' sides seem like a waste.
I was very happy to get it so easily, the last one he did like this was a total nightmare (Live After Deaf) that resulted in some sweet internet melts on the fan pages. I managed to get one of those too, but not without multiple crashes of shopping carts and much nail biting.

I can't say enough awesome things about the Capitol. Great sound, beautiful venue, smoking area, great beer selection and drink service to your seat (using their app). You can always tell when the person running a venue was a music fan first and promoter second.

Does anyone (bradm) have any, or know where to find them?
Thanks in advance.
