Nice, thanks for that.
Ditto. I found a pile of recordings from fests I have attended!
I currently have MMJ from Hangout '15 and Bridge School '13 cued up on stereo.

Damn Sam, I wish they were presenting these types of lineups when I was working Production.
This fest has come a long long way from the Britannia Beach days (which wasn't that long ago).

The new Houndmouth album 'Little Neon Limelight' is fantastic and so is their s/t debut album if you haven't heard that one yet.

BB King was the first concert I ever saw. It was at the old Ontario Place Forum with the spinning stage. I was 11!
Last weekend I was at Hangout Festival in Alabama and quite a few artists paid tribute to BB.

Tom Hamilton is totally underrated in the scene.
And the Cap is one of my favorite music venues anywhere. From the marquee and the lobby, to the sound and lights and right down to the drink selection and 'smoking' area you can tell that the venue is run by a fan of our kind of music. If you've never been, put it on your list of places to visit for a show!

I saw the Detroit version of this 'pop up' show a few weeks ago. The best tickets were $250, then $150 and then $70. I'd expect about the same.
It was worth every penny!

I left a little bit of my soul there in 2009.... When Bruce stepped on stage with Phish I lost my shit to the 5th power.
I still have that awesome pic on my wall - thanks AD!

Two great bands at Detroit's fabulous Masonic Temple on Wednesday June 3rd:
Main Floor ; M17, Row H, Seats 119-125 (they are all odd numbers)
I just had something else come up. I will sell them for less than face..... $200 for the set.

I know a guy who is much richer today than he was yesterday.
Bravo Brad! Booo Bonnaroo.....

Like a punch drink fighter, you just aren't feeling your face anymore.

TURF is at a great site, very well run, lots of great food and beverage options etc.

Sounds like Coldplay to me (who I very much dislike):

There isn't enough bathtub molly in the world to entice me into this.
Timeandplace'd.

The song in heavy rotation on Sirius is fucking atrocious. I can't remember the last time a band made such an about face from their debut album's sound.
Roller? Booche?

Gladly. See anyone that will pony up that cash there!
-
I didn't touch that one. It's the Barr brothers, not The Barr Brothers IMO.
-
I see what you did there.
This is great news (if Martin doesn't bail at the last minute again).

Then someone could make it a special Record Store Day release, similar to this mess:
http://www.brooklynvegan.com/archives/2015/04/the_national_ar_3.html
"Remember when The National played "Sorrow" for six hours straight at MoMA PS1? If you've been thinking ever since, "I wish this was available to buy as a really expensive box set" well your dreams have come true. The nine-vinyl-LP set A Lot of Sorrow will be released by 4AD on June 22. It comes in a translucent box (on clear vinyl), they're only making 1,500 of them and they sell for $150."

Jahdawgs links have zero seeders

Thank you Brad (and jahdawg)!

NPR is hosting the album a week before its release date:

So, who put their mail order in today?

A friend in Toronto received an envelope from GDSTOO with a sticker from Canada Post saying that their mail had been tampered with. All of the mailout was there - EXCEPT the tickets! They aren't sure what to do just yet.
