  2. I think Mitchell should get a special badge.
  3. not sure what he got right? The Can-Am league needed average attendance of 2000. Which' date=' I thought they received. There are some hardcore baseball fans in this town (like me) who will go to the games if they are AAA or A level. The Lynx expenses were too high to operate with that level of attendance. Can-Am *should* have worked. I think the problem with the RapidZ had more to do with ownership than the city (although this city seems to have a history of bad team owners for some reason). I just posted this at the Rapids blog: Am I incorrect, or were we told that a Can-Am team needs to average 2000 people a game. With 41 games, and tickets at $10 (ignoring the price of discount tickets, kids tix, etc…) that comes to $820,000. From that I would assume expenses were in the ballpark (no pun intended) of $800,000. Can someone please explain to me, how then, the team could have lost $1.5 million???[/quote'] Interesting....
  4. Earl Mcrae actually got it right for once.... Yer Out
  5. Is he going to be allowed from his crease to deal with the referees?
  6. the c on the jersey or the fact he can be captain?
  7. So say the Sens pick him up then they'd be on the hook for the last 6 mill or whatever it is. So "clearing waivers" means no one has picked him up in the allotted amount of time, and the original team is still on the hook for him. So if Bulin clears waivers, he'll end up on the farm making 6 million. So all this talk of the Sens picking him up is retarded....they can't afford him.
  8. Now that he's been put on waivers, if another team picks him up are they required to pay the last year (this year) of his salary. If he "clears waivers" and returns to Chicago to be traded, is the last year of his contract still valid. or, does the only reason that they use the term "waivers" because he's not eligible to be sent to the minors?. Can a team put a player on waivers so they don't have to take the cap hit? Does that make sense? I still don't understand.
  9. So what happens to Bulin's last year on his contract?
  10. Call me fucking retarded or whatever you want... Explain to me waivers, in layman's terms. I tried to read the CBA but christ...I only have a highschool edumication.

  15. Apparently, the reason Lansdowne is not being looked at is due to the lack of parking, and waiting on the city to see what they are going to do with it.
  16. No, there was no bike...and yes, apparently bad judgment on the drivers behalf.
  17. Dwight kicking the cheesecake was one of the best bits of comedy I've ever seen. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY STANLEY" definitely not the greatest episode of all time but I was on the floor a couple of times.
