  1. So does anyone know something I don't about this weekend in O-dot? I've had my feelers out all week, but nothing seems to be happening this weekend.

I'm well rested and ready for a party/show/adventure (after sleeping instead of seeing Raggamuffin last night. Sorry I bailed.)

    Who's doing what?

  2. Well??? Where were all of you? It's been a very long time since I've been to a show where I didn't bump into a phriendly face.

Ethnic Heritage Ensemble was pretty damn good. You missed a true jazz show. This three piece from Chicago had all the bells, whistles, whirly birds and a bigger bag of tricks than Billy Martin. There was a full drum kit, bongos, 3 saxes, a clarinet, keyboard and anything that would make a sound was brought up to the mic. It was a slow hypnotic groove all night with improvised vocal chants and the sweet, sweet song of the sax. I wish I had that show CD...perfect make out music!

It's just not the same without you all there. Next time....

  3. Only a couple of weeks ago, I fell out of bed. I was dreaming that I tripped and fell down a flight of stairs.

Those lucky enough to sleep beside me, have told me that I twitch all night... I dance a lot in my dreams, a la Elaine from Sienfeld. It's soooo bad, but it feels so good. tongue.gif" border="0

  4. cool.gif" border="0 I'm so handsome, there's a six-month waiting list for birds to suddenly appear whenever I am near!

cool.gif" border="0 The only thing that helps me maintain my slender grip on reality is the friendship I share with my collection of singing potatoes.

cool.gif" border="0 I just want to say: over the years, I have come to regard you as... people I met.

cool.gif" border="0 I AIN'T BRUSHIN' EM UNTIL PHISH GO BACK ON TOUR!!!

  5. Okay pholks: Who else thought that last night's episode was a major let-down? All the promotion and a month of hype for that??? I was disappointed.

If they pull the same, only-the-last-five-minutes shit for the Phish episode in March, I'm going to scream! mad.gif" border="0

  6. What a weekend! Thanks nero. I'm a bit stiff from dancing, you boys really had me movin' for two nights straight. I still can't wipe the smile off my face from the Chocolate Monkey closer. God I love that song! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

It was nice to see Teach out, I loved seeing the sisters out in K-town, and to the many people who saw nero for the first time this weekend - Congratulations, considered your ass kicked and welcome to the fold! Each show is better than the last for some magical, wonderful reason...

This weekend has me considering packing a tent and following the bus out west. Addictive! grin.gif" border="0

  7. Reba it was so good to meet you girlie. You should try to make it to our neck of the woods for tonight's show.

Thanks for the ride Velvet! And a big thank you to whomever's beer I was drinking all night.

    See ya'll at Dekcuf.

  8. Well B, I of course should run it by Mr. Huxtable but I like plenty of those.

We could be taken a trip through ye ol' time machine. I'm putting on lip balm as we speak! Do I need to scrape my tongue? It's still got a bit of fuzz on it from last night's binge. tongue.gif" border="0

  9. Okay, here's some inside scoop on the tune.

    1. I feel like Jessica Rabbit when I sing it.

    2. Peter (our drummer) calls it the wisper song

    3. Other names floating around the Hux basement are wet dream, the undie song, butterfly, delirium, altitude.....

Big, sloppy wet one still up for grabs (although Monkey, you may get one just for being you!) wink.gif" border="0

  10. Okay Pholks, It could be the excessive amount of consumption last night, could be the sleep deprivation, and okay, it might have something to do with this blond hair 'o mine, but I can't think of a name for the new song.

Those of you who were out last night get cracks at it. It was the slow one. Give me some ideas, and the winner gets a sloppy wet one straight from Ms. Huxtable herself and an honerable mention at the Junos when it's named, best named song of the year.
