The show was frickin' wicked. Lotsa energy out of Roger and Pete. Pete hasn't lost his stride, even into his 60s. Great windmill guitar. My only complaint? Not long enough.

The Slip ARE opening later in November! Good for them!

Merrickville, ..... lives in ottawa should go there some sunday. south on 416, get off at kemptville and keep driving towards smiths falls.

Technically speaking, in Ontario, if a place has a population of 15,000 or more, it's a city.

Merrickville is really nice, and well worth a Sunday afternoon drive from Ottawa, especially if you like the work of local artisans.

Toronto is an awesome city. I love it. I just wish they hadn't fallen in that "world class" trap. All that means is hotels and restaurants can charge more.

Kingston: the first of the two cities you pass on your way to montreal. the second ofcourse, being ottawa.

Dima, if you're driving from Toronto to Montreal and passing through Ottawa, not only do you add an extra hour onto your trip but you're missing one of the scummiest cities in the country. I'm talking of course about Cornwall Ontario, where the official slogan is "What's that smell?"

There's a restaurant on the top level called the Penalty Box, with seats that face the stage. You're probably up there!

Hey Dima it was good to meet you and your friends on the weekend. I bailed early too, left after moe's first set last night. Couldn't take the rain and cold anymore. It was so good to sleep at home last night.

I enjoyed all the music I heard this weekend. I've only seen moe. a handful of times and for my first moe.down it was great! I'll go next year but I really hope it's warm and sunny.

Ollie and Bouche both know that I sit near the office kitchen, with the microwave, fridge, and water cooler. I don't mind it at all, nobody really cooks up anything offensive. I don't think I would like it if people were microwaving popcorn, but nobody does at our office. As people come and fill up on cold water, they often stop by my desk to say hello. It's excellent for socializing.

A few months ago however the fridge was getting really foul smelling, so I helped out in the cleaning of it. Found a lot of mouldy stuff that people had forgotten about. Since then everyone's been keeping it clean.
