  1. "Theres something about flying a kite at night thats just so unwholesome"

You have to be careful when making your own led system from scratch because if its too bulky or not placed properly the disc won't fly properly.

Check out these pro-discs...the led's and wires all embeded in the plastic and they kick ass. Someone had one at Shoreline festival and it was perma-smiles the whoooole night. they range from

$20-$40 US which is easily worth the cost compared to making one yourself.

  2. sorry about the cross-thread, i think this is more appropriate here. I just watched this amazing video...its a benefit gig for the Springfield Creamery, an afternoon concert during 100 degree F temps, this video really captures the mood well - the audience is included in the film as much as the band and everyone, stage & camera crew included, is dosed (weren't they always?). this is a really fun video and is a must for any dead fan!

This torrent has been up since august so i appologise if this has been posted here already

  3. When i lived in halifax they had a few of these showings. My only complaint is that it was an older theatre and the sound was way too low.

The most spoken of method to sync it up is on the 3rd MGM lion roar, every time they played it in the theatre the sound was anywhere from 30 seconds to a min out of sync...the funny thing is that there are still parts that work well even when not started at the "right" time. I think that you can start it whenever you want and if your high, it will still work

I have echoes sync'd up with the last 20 odd mins of 2001 and its really creepy.

  4. I saw these guys at the Attic in Halifax - it was, hands down, the best humpity-bumpity jumpin' good time I ever had at that shitty smelly venue.

Don't me wrong, the Attic is the only decent venue halifax has to offer right now (sadly)...but they can use better! All the bus, swift, and nero shows were great times, but the Pocket dwellers had the place jumping up and down.

    Excellent work ken!

  5. That show was intense!! only took me 'till 4pm to get my head working again.

First set was good, Lots of new material (to the best of my knowledge) - but after a short 'dooobie break' the band came on full force...started with Euro Trash, then i can't really remember what came after...

The songs they play to end thier shows are always interesting...they're pretty wasted by then, Crazy drum solos and strange bass playing. the bass player doesn't stay on the same note for more than a second. he's all over the place!!

What a tease about a second PJC show tonight...I wish i had the option to hit up guelph tonight...
