i couldnt agree more. its old and tired. move it to the trash bin. give it its own forum.
you are absolutely right Jared, if that deluge of slip posts last fall warranted its own forum, this stuff also doesnt need to clutter up the cavern.
and the level of homophobia in its posts, under the guise of literary license, is pretty distasteful now too.

Woke up Saturday morning all excited about Police tix going on sale. Ive been buying tix for years and my clickitty-click-click fingers run on auto-pilot now. Im a wiz at this. So, I wasnt all that worried about getting good tix. But, of course, for our convenience, the glorious corporation that is TicketMaster has improved the service by adding in a new step. They show you a picture of a word and simply want you to type it. Easy, eh?
Welll .... look what I get ....
Enter the word as it is shown above
Huh?!?! It's not F K G Y Y J ?!?! Hmmm, that was a bit hard, Mr. Ticketmaster. I didnt get it ...
Ok, they respond ... how about this, much easier one!?
ugh

paypal payments are guaranteed to some extent. if the transaction is linked to an ebay auction (they are owned by the same company), it very easy to get your money back.
but it sounds like yours is a private transaction, so things are more complicated and could take months to resolve if something went wrong. if the seller is offering you the option of paying by cheque, thats your safest way to do it.
but bottom line, its a matter of faith. and you have to base your faith on his reputation, standing on craiglist, etc. if he's been around for a while, it probably safe to deal with him.

scored a sweet pair in sec105 ACC for $95 each for the monday show. VERY happy with them
.
didnt wanna spend five bills on a pair, and didnt wanna be in the nosebleeds (most of which were also $95
).
expect another show to be added for saturday. the monday show was added immediately upon the sunday show selling out.

oh, and it has to be an original band that we have heard of, no searching for obscure bands of famous singers.

i know eh, and on a friday too - when everyone's brain turns to mush ...
what's the LD-50 of coffee??
in Soundboard
Posted
It’s the caffeine that would kill you. The lethal dose of caffeine is between 5g and 50g. Assuming a cup of coffee has 40mg caffeine, you’d have to drink a minimum of 125 cups within an hour or two to get close to a lethal dose. (LD-50 equals approx. 150 to 250 mg/(kg body mass).)
