  1. Hey Everyone! There is a goodbye party for Chrisitna this Saturday the 17th. It starts at 7pm and it is at the Tartan pub (wellington @ clarendon, above harvest loaf) For those who don't know she is getting married and moving to Colorado! Lets send her off in style

Hope to see you all there!

  2. o.k. time to get mushy...

6 years ago yesterday in Rochester I met my monkey. I am so grateful to have you in my life, I love you with all my heart. Thanks to Phish for bringing us together. Thanks to Velvet for the ride (and introducing me to such an incredibly amazing person). But most of all, who could ever forget,

    Jennifer Dances. ;)

  3. well, it is good to know there is other Christmas lovers out there! Of course moe. has a christmas album that I play a lot this time of year, and the charlie brown christmas is awesome!!, but I also enjoy a little Perry Como. He just has this great soothing voice that gets me all sentimental.

p.s. thanks for the Jimmy Buffet info...I didn't even know he had a Christmas album, let alone an 'island' one!! SWEEEEEET!

    I love christmas!

  4. Yup, it is a puppet show. AS far as I know the group is based in VT. They used to have a big summer festival back in the day. I went to one, and my memory is rather foggy, but as far as I know it is generally a politically based show - satirical as it were - they make all their own puppets and write all their own stuff. The bread comes from the fact that they used to have a wood oven kinda thing at the festival and give out free bread. (but good guess Velvet)

The two shows listed are How to Turn Distress into Success (National emergency clowns demonstrate official reactions to the ultimate emergency) and World on Fire (A parable of war and its making)

Hope some of you guys go and check it out!

  6. (although I think we should have won ;)) for Ottawa's small business of the year. I guess we were too ethical for them... :o Regardless, I thought it was a neat fact that I wanted to share with you. Almost got served by howler too, she was serving the table next to me. Anyways, I'm just really proud I guess. Yeah coffee!

  7. Wow, I can't believe its happened already!! Best of luck in all you do, have a great time in Vancouver. I know I'll probably see you in the near future. You'll need some Bridgehead coffee soon enough! Love ya!

  8. Hey dima! I saw your thread on phantasy tour...I'm not sure if anyone replied to it yet but I thought I would answer your question. Unfortunately there was no Jim sit-in, but everone except vinnie came by to check out part of the show. Not too big a crowd, but a good time nonetheless.

moe. was great. Lots of new tunes, can't wait to hear where they take them. But not a really good turn out for them either...kinda sad. But finally they are selling beer at state theater!!! Its about time. ::
