I made this recipe in the crockpot today. It was so good that when I was finished I wanted to turn back time and have dinner all over again.

[color:brown]Crockpot Roast Sticky Chicken

4 tsp. salt

2 tsp. paprika

1 tsp. cayenne pepper

1 tsp. onion powder

1 tsp. thyme

1 tsp. white pepper

1/2 tsp. garlic powder

1/2 tsp. black pepper

1 large roasting chicken, make sure it will fit in your size crockpot

1 cup chopped onion

In small bowl, thoroughly combine all spices.

Clean chicken well and remove giblets. Pat dry with paper towels. Rub the spice mixture into the chicken, both inside and out, making sure it is evenly distributed and down deep into the skin. Place in a resealable plastic bag, seal and refrigerate overnight.

When ready to cook put the chopped onion inside the chicken then put it in the crockpot and do not add any liquid. As the cooking process goes on the chicken will produce it's own juices.

Cook on low 8-10 hours( high 5-6). The chicken will be falling off the bones.

• carrots under the chicken

• broiled the chicken for the last 5-10 minutes (just to brown the skin a little)

you can just saute some garlic, mushrooms and green onion(and any other veggie you may want) with butter the same pot that you are going to make the rice in. Then add the rice and water as per instructions. Using chicken or veggie stock instead of water really adds yum. If you are using lemon on the salmon you can tie the flavors together by adding lemon zest to the rice.

I guess I've been under a rock, sorry for stating the obvious. It still blows me away though.

So Davey Boy and I were watching a Bruce Springsteen and the E street Band dvd, Dave commented on the guitar players resemblance to the guy from the Saprano's. We looked it up and sure enough he is Silvio. I certainly could'nt imagine Silvio ripping out a solo.

Happy Birthday Dave

One of my fav's was Jake the Snake vs. Andre the Giant. Jake let Damion out of the bag and a terrified Andre the Giant tangled himself up in the ropes trying to get out of the ring.

I cried when that happened and my parents threatened to make me take a "break from watching WWF".

I think I'm feeling the frustration all over again after watching that.
