hm i remember last time the trio played in montreal in may, marco told me they had some trouble at the border which is why the show was late. maybe there was some REAL trouble this time...

doesn't seem like the kind of show that will be re-scheduled given its marco's only canadian stop

with all the press that eisenhower got it makes such little sense that pitchfork of all sites didn't do a review. it was easily the best album of 2006. i was really happy to see P&A getting written up in pitchfork though

brad has so much damn material, he needs to be releasing stuff with ALL of his bands. i never understand why he is so hesitant

sounds like a wicked time. did anyone tape/grab any video. i would love to hear what this slip incarnation sounds like

4.23.09 | SUMMER MINI TOUR: LOW EMISSIONS

Almost two years since our last tour, The Slip is coming together in June and July to perform a handful of shows on the east and west coasts. We have been on hiatus, making music in our respective cities, enjoying the detours. There may be additional shows here and there as we begin to craft our next album. Super Little is opening up for some band at Il Motore tomorrow night. Anyone hitting it/taping it?

their playing high sierra, who knows what'll be with that new SMMD record, although i did hear part of a studio version of "Little Boat" on state of mind magazine's top albums of 2008

when i spoke to beth who works at the magazine she told me the album is coming, but god only knows when

i think once it drops we can expect a pretty big tour out of them ala the eisenhower album/tour

miss them a ton, although their jamming may have peaking in 2000, they are easily one of the most creative bands out there today, and probably some of the hardest working dudes in the music industry, hustlin about any which way they can so they can continue to make music

so last night i sat down with the Ducan Davies Trio for a nice little 45 minute interview. Duncan has recieved a lot of press due to his little cameos on MTV's The City but he is truly about the music. My buddy and my cousin both play in his band and they're great, really good guys who simply love playing and talking about music. Check out the interview at my blog http://backin15mins.blogspot.com . i truly cannot understand how people like the white stripes, they are really just a shitty version of The Black Keys. i've tried endlessly to watch jack's "impressive" guitar work on youtube and i really think that he and meg are just hacks.

I am going to Montreal the weekend of the 16th (next weekend) just curious if anyone knows about any concerts going down, maybe a brad barr solo show or a super little show or anything else

did anyone go to this? provide us with a review please!
