Getting hitched this summer to katy. A few around these parts have met her. Anyhow my friends band is gonna play the wedding, and would they wanted me to put together a setlist. some of you have seen them ...the idlers (the idlers.ca).

I would love any suggestions for danceable upbeat fun time tunes.

i remember seen james brown once and he did a 80 or so minute set, i thought it was set break, not the end of ths show!

agreed about page. he is turned up and sounds awesome. i think some time around 97 mike got turned way up and you lost a bit of page. now though even in the quiet parts you hear page really well ie. divided sky soundscape...

loved the transition and moma dance as well...never liked that song that much till that night.

i find it overall more 'happy' phish. they never got too dark and kept the jams short and tight.

there is no doubt there is goodness to come...

what he said. This isn't uncommon. Phish is known to bring major drug dealers to town. Not necessarily Phisheads or whatever but drug dealers. It ain't all hugs and roses.

not saying not needed, just saying who pays? and lets face it, phish is differnt from an economic standpoint compared to other bands where most of the fans are local.

as for momack...hampton well off? sure, but did you speak to any of the cab drivers? they LOVED it. paid the rent in a day, pay for car repairs etc. some people are definately hurting...

i know there was a thread somewhere else about phish paying for the cops...and people argued that its in the contract. i think thats bs. if i was in a rock band, in a recession heading for a depression, and your show was said to bring in 5 million into the local economy (probably much more as they estimated 75 000 people, therefoe 66 dollars each (ha, i wish))

i would get the city to pay for the cops. if they dont want to , im sure another city would.

i went to the poster show, and got one he designed for the show got 5/600, had him sign it hampton 09 and traded it for my ticket to sunday!
