The performance features Richard Dorfmeister and Rupert Huber on piano and electronics with Robert Gallagher and Cath Coffey on vocals and a sophisticated visual show created by Ars Electronica Future Lab, the famous Art / technology organisation, founded in 1979 in Linz Austria. The show will contain songs from the new albums “Odeon & TLAPA†as well as some of the most popular songs from all their past releases, a 75- 90 minute journey into Tosca’s universe of ambient and electronic Vienna sounds.

Multi-instrumentalists Richard Dorfmeister and Rupert Huber have been friends since their Vienna schooldays, when they founded their first experimental band, called Dehli 9, later dedicated as the name of their album Dehli 9 in 2002.

Richard became half of the globally acclaimed DJ-producer duo Kruder and Dorfmeister, while Rupert composed piano music, soundart installations and acoustic networks. But the duo rediscovered their musical chemistry again with their project TOSCA.

Jack Johnson announces a summer headline tour in support of his sixth studio album, From Here To Now To You, which debuted #1 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart, Johnson's fourth chart topping album to date. Support during the tour stop in Toronto on Wed. May 28th is indie-folk collective Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros.

A preorder will be held for members of Jack's mailing list on January 28, with local pre-sales starting January 30 and the public on-sale on January 31 at 10 AM local time for each show.

Messenjah�is a progressive�roots�rock reggae group�formed in Kitchener, Ontario in 1981.� The band� toured globally and was the first Canadian reggae act to release music on a Major Label (Warner).� After a number of albums, world tours,�music videos and TV appearances, in 1998�the band landed a appearance in the film Cocktail starring Tom Cruise and performed at the Skydome�alongside Nelson Mandela and won a Juno Award�before disbanding, closing a chapter of a brilliant 17 year career.� Now returning to the stage for the first time in over 15 years, we welcome Canada's Reggae Pioneers to headline our Bob Marley Birthday�Tribute on Sat. February 8th at Lee's Palace.

On Saturday February 22nd at the Phoenix Concert Theatre in Toronto, The Nujazz Festival is incredibly excited to be presenting the Canadian debut of Lettuce. Now based in Brooklyn, this explosive 8-piece funk band features members of Soulive & Break Science such as Eric Krasno, Adam Deitch and Neal Evans.� With their ability to steer funk in a new directions while maintaining respect for the funk traditions and supremely talented musicianship, Lettuce is a favorite at festivals such as NOLA Jazz Festival, Jam Cruise, Catskill Chill and many others. They recently celebrated their 20th anniversary having originally come together in the early 90s during their days at Berklee School of Music in Boston.�

This can’t-miss show will also feature two of Toronto’s top funk & groove bands KC Roberts & The Live Revolution and After Funk plus DJ Sean Sax on the wheels of steel.
