  1. Glad to see that The Slip forum has finally been killed, there was just never enough news or excitement to justify it in the first place.

Wow; how sad. Could this be the beginning of the end for the Slip? You heard it here on jambands.ca first!

  2. I'm in. That is really expensive. I'd rather pay to see them in a decent venue but whatever. I saw the last tour and it was actually quite good. Pino did a great job on the bass. It's still the same keyboardist that's always been in the band too isn't it? That being said, it's still The Who.

  3. Nice, looks like you had a good crowd.. due to long inspections linueps i missed your set.. i thought forsure i would see you this weekend jay after we met up at starbucks on the highway. camp bisco was definatley bigger this year then last year.. message me on facebook about the tapes you wanted.. peace

That's funny; I was just reading this thread and thought I'd post something to the effect of, "isn't that the place with the INSANE lineup and inspections when we were there?"

A bunch of us went down for Gathering of the Vibes a few years ago and we all swore we'd NEVER go to that venue again.

That's AWESOME about Chameleon project though. Good for them!

  4. I know some of you might be able to help. How do I watch/stream windows media encoded video on a mac, i have flip 4 mac pro and it still wont work for me. Bouche i vaguely remember you saying that you have no problems!! what do use?

i am trying to watch the black crowes on sbc blue room

i get nothing after i click submit i tried everything,

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Stop fucking around with a Mac and get yourself a PC. Seems straightforward.

  5. my ears have almost stopped ringing... fun show. i recall turning around with my hands over my ears at one point, and the two sound guys (resident and roadie) were laughing at how loud it was!

It was completely off-side. We literally had to leave the room because of the volume. There wasn't anyone on the dance floor because doing so would almost have guaranteed bleeding ears. It was stupid. It's too bad too because the band was outstanding.

  6. Great show last night. That venue sounds like ass in many places but if you move around and find a nice pocket it's tolerable. Rush were on fire as they always are. It still amazes me to watch three 60-year olds make that much music and do so flawlessly.

  7. Why don't they send a poet or a songwriter into space? Maybe even a philosopher. Why does it always have to be scientists and engineers?

Because stuff needs to get done in space. Start sending all the fuckin' pot-smoking flakes up there and they'd forget about the decaying orbits and end up crashing to earth.

    Oh, nevermind. ;)
