  1. I'm thinking about selling my Westfalia. It doesn't seem to be a good match with my current life and the money is desperately needed elsewhere. I wondered if anyone here would be interested. Shoot me a PM if you are and I can tell you some of the details.

  2. Anyone know a good tool to document all the pages on a web site? For example I have the URL (say www.abc.com), and I'd like to be able to list and even save all the active pages from that site.

Basically I have a customer who's web designer has gone belly up and I'm trying to snag a copy of their site for them before the servers get turned off in whatever forgotten room they're still running in.

  3. Lots of questions:

Are you trying to connect wirelessly? If so, forget that for now and try plugging right into the cable router.

Have you called Rogers to ask them? It's possible that they need to reset the cable router.

The 169.x.x.x address is what Windows assigns to itself after it gives up trying to acquire one from the ISP. This again points to the cable router.

  4. how much for a 12 pack? Do you ship to J8X 3E4 ?

    Well, 23L is about $30. That's about 67 beer bottles (341ml) or about 2.8 cases of beer. I guess it's about 45 cents a bottle. So why don't we say I'll see you a 12-pack for $6?

  5. I've recently started. My first batch was a stout and it turned out very impressive. It wasn't quite Guinness but I didn't sour it after fermentation as they do. However, it was probably better than any other stout I've have.

Now I've got a Pale Ale on the go that's ready to be bottled. I made it using wort from Magnotta and a yeast starter that my friend supplied to me. It was a California yeast. I'm going to bottle it up tonight using a bunch of 473ml "Grolsh" bottles that I picked up. I love the swing tops!

Yesterday I pitched the yeast starter that I made (two iterations) (Hefeweizen) into a carboy of Magnotta Wheat wort.

Sometime this summer I think I'll try a boil and make my own wort but for now I'm having a blast playing with yeast types and understanding the whole process a little better.

Anyone else making beer? I don't mean at one of those home-brew places either.

  6. In case people aren't reading the old thread but are interested in hearing the show, here it is. (Really I just wanted to try the embedding.)
