Does anybody else just involuntarily roll their eyes when they hear about things like the "Jammies"???
I know I do.
-
The Siket Disc is my favorite Phish album, hands down.
-
uh-oh:
MarcO is a CD player that's better than the last one and sweeps away dust.
-
ps - hey, Tonberry, why so sad?
-
Harry Hood. Beautiful composition. Tear-jerking jam section (sigh... Page...). And lyrics about a little man who lives inside a refrigerator. Oh, and a little reggae!
All the best elements of Phish, rolled into one great tune.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'd take Samba In The Rain over Wave To The Wind.
I mean, it was nice of Phil to try but....
-
I'm curled up in the corner of the room in the fetal position, naked, sweating the brandy I've been putting back to cope and all the hair from my body neatly piled up in front of me....

imo, go see Kottke. It'll be a more unique experience. You'll have plenty of opportunity to get down with tND.
actually come to think of it, I doubt Kottke would play that late, and tND probably won't start until about 10.30 - 11.00.
actually, aren't tND playing as part of some weird rave-like thing ("Earthdance 2002")?
why not do both??

lately the Casbah has been having an 8pm show of different artists weekly, and then the Fatties start up around 11 (more like 11.30). Check VIEW magazine, or call the club. I'll bet you that's what's happening.
-
Anybody else got any thoughts on the show? was it well attended? did you have fun? did you think they played well?
I'd like to know!!
-
I think today is the release date, at least as far as the US release goes.
-
I realize we all could go at this all day, but put Scofield in 1st place for me, Anastasio gets the Silver and Haynes gets a bronze.
They all get silver buckets of coke, though!!
-
Haynes, Anastasio, Scofield.
IMO, it starts great and just gets better, from left to right.

3 monsters, ready to attack...
how cool would that be to hear and see?
-
I'm really glad to hear things are heading in positive directions, brother. I know you've been having a hell of a time lately and laurie and I are thinking about you lots. My van is in need of repairs before it can hit the highway again but once it's up and running, you're always welcome to commute with us to any T.O./out-of-town shows we're both into.
Probably have to give the Fatties a miss this week, but we'll cross paths soon man.

If George W. Bush wins an award for peace, will one of you please come over to my place and kill me? Just fucking kill me. Steve? Trevor?? Anybody???
Thanks in advance.

Pepper Jack's is a great place, but have any of you out there had terrible experiences with Church Key Lager? It's one of their feature draughts.
For me, it's like drinking fire. I had to phone in sick to work yesterday, my gut was so messed up from that stuff (and I only had one pint!). And that happened to me last time I was there, drinking that beer.
Great place, evil beer.

Have a great time, everyone!! I can tell you that in Waterloo and Hamilton they were laying down lots of fresh new jams. There was one in particular that - and you'll know it when you hear it - sounds like a heavy metal blowout, with Jamie just tearing out distorted, doomy chords all over the place. Bang your heads freely!!
For those who care, tND are in Toronto on Oct. 13 @ Kool Haus with dj Junior Sanchez. That'll most likely be their last T.O. area appearance for a while.

I love beer. Goes great with everything, except operating heavy machinery. Love it. Yesterday, Sunday, I awoke at 7am due to an early night the night before. Cleaned the crap out of the apartment. Did some chores. Big breakfast. Sat down on the balcony at 10:45 am and watched the church-goers go by, having a beer.
It was great! Nothin' like drinkin' beer on a Sunday mornin'!!

sorry... I just got swept away I guess.
ok (deep breath)... the word is: if you really want Hampton tix, try, try and try again; they seem to be being released in a slow trickle.
sorry if I freaked anybody out, I was freaked myself.

and if that isn't wierd enough, somebody else just said they bought 2 tickets for a show on 1/5 in Winston-Salem, NC from TM.
another person said the TM agent mentioned a show in Rochester....
I know this all *may* be bogus, and I apologize in advance if this is all a false alrm, but what's going on??? anyone??
-
see these posts for yourself, may be worth a try.
sorry for the cross-board post, I just thought I may be able to help someone. I don't know if you'll have any luck, but people apparently are getting tickets...
and there's more wierdness brewing....

You're just red-hot today, aren't you steve? Don't fuck with secondtube, I tell ya!! He's one crazy mofo!
