  1. I am also not sure what to think. Would love to travel to this with the crew of friends from last year, and add more to the mix, but the lineup, while containing lots of good stuff, seems to be missing something. No Phil (which surprises me given that the lineup was announced on his birthday), no Ratdog, no ABB, no SCI, no Phish (ha ha). Hopefully I don't sound like I'm stuck in the past with my whining!

It is a sweet venue, the timing of this fest is great, and there is lots on the bill that I know I'd enjoy. Plus the festival is known for some sweet late additions over the years.

Curious as to what others think. Part of what makes a festival experience great is the friends that are part of it. Going to look at Mountain Jam again as well.

    Peace, Mark

  2. For anybody in the Niagara Region on the Easter weekend, consider a trip to The Sanctuary on Sat. April 19. And I'm not talkin' about a visit to this website. I'm talkin' about a trip to a sweet venue in Ridgeway, Ontario. Rose Garland will be filling the room with tasty versions of Grateful Dead songs. And rumour has it that Mark Tonin will be openin' the show, playin' acoustic guitar and singin' some songs, maybe solo, maybe with a friend or two. He's got a few new tunes to unleash and a whole lotta energy to share ... you know what I'm talkin' about. Here's a link to the venue website, with more info to follow at a later date.

  4. Liking the looks of this lineup, and could potentially be in for this, but waiting for a few more announcements (GOTV and Phish to name a couple) before committing to anything. Happy summer music thoughts!

  5. Love it ... makes may think of that hilarious raffle at the Come Together Music Fest many years ago!

I've watched a number of Dragons Den episodes in the past and yes, Yo's business is not developed enough for them to invest in. As investors, they are looking for more developed ideas with concrete financial info that shows good profit potential. But it is a cool idea!

    Peace, Mark
