"Rusted Wheel" by Silversun Pickups ... yeah, them again.

Cool story, thanks for sharing, Hux.

Sending healing vibes to Mr. Stills ... he has made some wonderful music.

Exactly Jaimoe. That is why this version of the Joker is going to be far better.
I particularly like the rumor that , unlike the last time, they aren't going to try to explain the Joker's back story, he is just going to show up and start causing havoc (like he did in the original comic).

Plant can do both, he's a mule.

probably not a coincidence
both men have an alleged history of violence. i dunno. making conversation.
In What's Love Got To Do With It, Ike and Spector come off as kindred spirits ... again, Tina's side of the story.
-
strange coincidence - Phil Spector produced some albums for Ike and Tina.
How is it a coincidence ... did Phil Spector just die?
-
any chance you'll be belting out a number or two RnB?
Nothing planned, but anything is possible.

My friend Darius' band, which used to be called Sandy but I'm not sure if that is still the case, will be playing a show this Saturday, Dec. 15, at the Newfoundland Pub in Ottawa. They are great musicians, a lot of fun live and I believe they are encouraging folks who have instruments to bring them if they want to sit in.

And the best part is, you can save the grease in the fridge and save yourself having to go out to the store to buy a can of expensive goose grease.

I have a hard time with 'rural'.
"The Rural Juror"?

Mike, you equate greatness with clean picked notes? What about Page's riffs? Plus, blues is best when it's sloppy.
I know it is studio, but get out Physical Grafitti and take a long hard listen to "Ten Years Gone" ... I still say it stands as an incredible guitar composition and performance.

Did they do anything that wasn't a cheap cover of a Slade song?

Ladies and gentlemen, this thread is floating in space.

I think Jimmy Page looks so much better now that he has done an Emmylou Harris and let his hair go naturally silver.
-
The guitar chord that is hit just before the first chorus of Electricity = greatest single guitar chord ever.

Everyone should own the Live Aid '85 DVD(s) - lots of killer stuff on it.
And some truly hilarous hairstyles! My acid test was, if your hair was worse than Bono's , you were a candidate for worst live aid hair. My vote goes to Tom Bailey from Thompson Twins.
Great performance that nobody noticed : David Gilmour playing guitar for Bryan Ferry.

I still do mix CDs ... eh, sharon?

For that matter, when have D'Yer Maker and The Crunge been played live? I know they did a bit of the riff in the How The West Was Won Dazed And Confused, but I don't think it has been performed in full.

Here's a list of some songs they have never played live apparently... I can't vouche for the list personally, it was posted on another board.
Living Loving Maid
Hats Off To Roy Harper
Houses of the Holy
In The Light
Down By The Seaside
Night Flight
Boogie With Stu
For Your Life
Royal Orleans
Candy Store Rock
Hots On For Nowhere
Southbound Suarez
Fool In The Rain
Carouselambra
I'm Gonna Crawl
Poor Tom
Ozone Baby
Walters Walk
Darlene
Bonzo's Montreux
Conspicuous by it's absence on this list is Tea For One, a personal favorite of mine that I have yet to find on any bootleg ... anybody have any confirmation on when it was played?
