Has anybody had any problems receiving their tickets? We called about ours and were told Canada Post lost a few hundred tickets. They said it won't be a problem as they'll have our names at the gate, but they thanked us for calling because they don't know for sure whose tickets were lost.
Same thing happened to me ... ordered it from Capital Tickets and waited for a long while to get it, then ordered the upgrade for the Van Morrison show. I got the ticket for Van, so I called them up last Thursday to ask what's up. They didn't mention anything about Canada Post losing the tickets, they just said they would reprint my ticket and I would get it in about 10 business days.

The best part of Bluesfest is not the acts that you know and plan on seeing, it's the 10 that you discover by accident. Get the bracelet and plan on surprising yourself.
So true, Sharon, for me, Shikasta, Hackensaw Boys and even Kentucky Headhunters were big surprise discoveries. I'm just hoping the return to Labreton Flats helps my endurance so I don't have to leave early as often and can just relax and enjoy the whole festival.

Some time ago, I was at the theatre to see Grindhouse, and the music while waiting for the movie trailers there were some interesting mash ups combining different songs together in neat ways. I remember Red Rain by Peter Gabriel with a Coldplay song, and Sledgehammer by Peter Gabriel again with Dancing In The Streets. Can anybody help me figure out where these come from and if I can get them on CD?

Freak i'd like to hear why you think Primus sucks? We've got this deal too and it's golden.
What happened is I made a joke post mixing up Primus the phone provider with Primus the band. Freak responded with Primus Sucks because that is a sort of joke cheer that Primus the band encourages their fans to shout at the band. It had nothing to do with the actuall phone provider, AFAIK.

WILCO ~ SKY BLUE SKY
Love it and can't wait for the Toronto show!
Same here, got the version with the DVD.

I'm with a different Primus service. I give all of my messages to Les Claypool and hope he spreads the word.

Do you have the world's largest untitled song catalogue or just a lot of forethought and desire to compose?
The latter. I have a file of to-be-used titles (maybe 150 of them) that I've accumulated over the years' date=' so when I actually do compose something, I root through the file and choose one.

Ah, the Robert Pollard approach ... except for him, you would need to put another zero at the end of it.

Too bad nobody answered your question and called you a dumbass.
I claim this as a song title.
Aloha' date='

Too late, it's already set as the title of the next Modest Mouse album.

We went to Keg Manor ... the food was delicious and the ambience was wonderful. Thanks for your help, guys.
-
Keg Manor, that is the one on Richmond Road, right?

Folks,
Fiona and I have one some gift cards to The Keg, can anyone help advise me as to which location in Ottawa would be the best to go to, in regards to food quality, pricing, service, ambience, etc. I've read wildly varying reviews from each location, from loved it to hated it, so and personal experiences would be gratefully appreciated.

Again, I can't really participate because my family has pretty good taste in music, or at least taste that doesn't bother me.

7. “2000 Light Years from Home†off the Rolling Stones’ Their Satanic Majesties Request
This for me is a classic example ... amazing song on an album that you can quite happily live your life without hearing the rest of it.

Outside was an awesome album. Also, IMHO, the best song on True Stories was City Of Dreams.
-
FWIW< Chameleon's song in the previous list still needs to be replaced

DRINKER'S PEACE
At times I wish I were dead
Busy people dancing all over my head
This I value with every move they make
Real bad headache with every step they take
I get a contact buzz
Can't remember what the problem was
I find it hard to even care
Life was to real till you got there
My life is dirt but you seem to make it cleaner
Reduce my felony to a misdemeanor
When I feel sick you're an antibiotic
Organize my world that was pointless and chaotic

He also had a couple of great Saturday morning kids shows that I used to watch.
Lidsville ... I'm still surprised that the Kroft brothers got away with that one.

I've always loved Uncle Travelling Matt's name for us regular folks, namely The Silly People.
