  1. Watched this today also. Thought it was pretty good. They must be completely pissed that this copy somehow was leaked. Imagine putting all that time and money into a project only to have it leaked for free on the internet before it was even finished. Almost all of the computer generated effects are yet to be added. Still, Wolverine is the shit.

  2. Okay so I listened to the whole Victor Disc(s) this morning. As far as I can tell they were just jamming in the studio for the fun of it. No song structures or composed compositions on there. I think it's pretty dope and I'll listen to it again for sure. I wouldn't put it in a class with The Siket Disc or anything else because really they're just jamming and it's all pretty loose. There's a jazzy vibe to alot of it and you can tell that they weren't using much of their own gear except their Guitars. I'd have to say that there are a few standouts for me and I've posted a couple things on youtube for fun if you want to check them out (I'll post them below this). The other thing I noticed was that whoever took it upon themselves to release this actually put a couple jams on twice. On the second disc "35 Minute Jam" and "Last Victor Jam" contain parts that are on the first disc under different titles.

  3. Really?

LAGOS (AFP) - Nigeria's anti-drugs agency has arrested a 114-year-old Nigerian man after discovering 100 bags of cannabis behind his house in southwest Ogun state, a senior official said Saturday.

NDLEA Ogun state director Chinyere Obijuru said Sulaimon Adebayo who denied ownership of the illicit drug was arrested early in the week at Odeda following a tip-off.

"Imagine what could have happened if this drug had not been seized. Imagine the lives that would have been destroyed by this illicit drug," she queried.

Last November, the agency seized 30,000 kilogrammes of cannabis contained in 5,923 bags in southern Edo state, while in June it impounded 80 tonnes of cannabis in its largest single haul yet, in the southwestern city of Ibadan.

  4. I thought there was some very obvious rust throughout. But the entire run had the "feel" that reminded me of why I love this band so much. I can't wait to hear them after they really get back into the groove this summer. Come on Darien!!!!

  6. mark, the onsite camping is $200 for one night for 6 people ($140 for 2).

That's pretty ridiculous. I mean, if you are going to make full use of the amusement park it is not that bad. But I don't think I would want to get there early, go on rides all day, then hit the concert.

    Too old for that.

We stayed there for Trey/Mike/Phil a few years back and immediately after the show they came around in security trucks and repeatedly instructed us to sit in silence, go to sleep or be escorted off the property (11pm). Won't stay there again.
