  1. why they would play the opera house, and on a tuesday....horrible way to play a city for the first time.

Bands play here on weeknights b/c it is a small market. Weekend shows are usually saved for places that can sell out, or at least get more than a couple hundred people.

I'm not a huge UM fan, mainly b/c I haven't seen them that often and am not familar with all their material. I am looking forward to show. I need more fresh live music to boogie.

  2. If you don't mind paying, take the 407. Follow it until it ends

Stay on that road (hwy # 7 aka winchester rd) and go all the way to Simoce St. N.. This is about 5 north on Oshawa.

Turn right on Simcoe and follow it all the way through Oshawa and back down to the 401.

In distance it is a little further, but there won't be any stop and go and should save you some time.

  3. hmm Cinci might be one of mine too - I had gone to Chicago but(as Giggles may remember) it was a movie-worthy weirdness/terrorfest at our frickin hotel after that show so looking forward to two nights in Cinci while staying at the Hilton was the earthbound equivalent of the step from purgatory to heaven....

Ha ha, my friend Wilson was telling me about that story again last weekend. Cracks me up everytime.

Cincinatti was great. As was Albany Fall 2000.

I always loved Deer Creek too because of the multi night runs.

Really looking forward to this one. I had one of the mellowest New Years in a long time but it didn't really bother me, b/c New Years style action begins 2 weeks late in 2007.

    Happy New Year ;)

  4. Anyone have any good suggestions for getting rid of interference from radio waves?

Latley, I've been picking up the local country channel in my amps. Doesn't seem to matter which guitar or amp I use.

I was thinking maybe a line driver because it gets worse as I add effects into the signal chain.

  5. Anyone have any experience with Sativex? I had a chance to try it out last night. Works pretty good.

I am thinking about getting for my chronic pain. Just wondering how it works long term
