newspapers, magazines...now's the time to research your next vacation spot. i've been trying to remember the name of the website that has entire books online and in pdf format. but i haven't had time yet.

a friend of mine had a similar problem except sometimes, completely randomly her brakes wouldn't work as well as they should. if you leave it, it might turn into a bigger problem. definitely get it looked at. just don't pay for a misdiagnosis. in fact, if it takes 2 or 3 tries to get the problem assessed accurately, you should get them to waive the fee entirely since it's taken 2 or 3 times as long to fix which taxes your time, which i'm sure is a valuable commodity.

with a bit that is SOOO not PC, i'm surprised they PC'd out and didn't do iraq.

i keep likening this to a show i saw in a small venue once, that had their tables and chairs out where the dancefloor usually was. there was about 8 feet of space between stage and tables rather than the usual 25 feet. people at the tables weren't pissed their view was blocked. it's expected. so why's it so different here. i amazed that this is such a seemingly insurmountable problem. and i'm really surprised at how none of these sitters are embarassed by how completely LAZY they are.

balls falls is so worth the stop. there are signs for it on the highway.

i'm not sure what admission fees are like, or how much she's into history, but i liked going to see dundurn castle (in hamilton, really close to burlington) when i was a kid. it's set up like it was in the olden days, with actors playing the parts of the people that lived there and the servants and stuff.

there's a HUGE jungle gym\childrens play park in gage park in hamilton that's free and always garunteed to be full of kids for that afternoon when you just can't captivate her attention anymore.

you can always find the closest stretch of bruce trail and go for a nice hike

don't get sucked into the cheesey haunted houses and wax museums when you're in the falls. instead go to the butterfly conservatory, your 9 or $10 is much more wisely spent there.

you can always go for a swim in pt dover (lake erie) and stop for an ice cream at hewitts dairy in hagersville on the way back. they make the ice cream right there.

that fest must rake in so much $$...if they aren't staffing security properly, maybe they do need to spend the coin (which is what they're trying to avoid) on a police presence, or an increased one if they already have one. and why the f does a lawnchair only section need to be policed? it requires those portable metal fences, sectioning off an area and 1 security guy per stage saying "oh, no chair? go on through my fine booty shaking friend" "you, with the chair, you cannot enter with your chair, them's the rules"

geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez.....how can it be that hard? or is my non experienced ass just not getting something.
