  1. go to the legal aid office. you may not get legal aid to deal with your issues, but you can get referred to a legal clinic where you can get free advice

and keep your chin up, nasty letters are designed to intimidate you and make you doubt yourself. don't get worried until you have to - when you've done research and have been given sound advice that you don't have a case.

  2. jeah, counsellors don't really do the stereotypical "and how did that make you feel?" response to everything you say. that's more reserved for real shrinks. and even then, not all do that.

you should give it a try, if someones style really isn't sitting right with you, look at why it's irking you so, maybe it's hitting a nerve you don't want to acknowledge, or maybe they're full of BS. either way, give it a try, presuming the worst outcome possible and not even trying doesn't fix things.

and as an after thought, counsellors or shrinks that do aggrivating things, or ask questions that seem to have obvious answers and it drives you nuts, well, those sessions are good places to learn to live with, deal with and process your aggrevation through effective communication.

it's all an exploration of self, have fun with it and don't worry - you're not so bad.

  3. i second the matrix call. and as much as i love and appreciate what bradm does as far as taping goes, i've got to say that show is unlistenable. the sound on the aud recording is muted and muffled and not at all a good representation of the music as i heard it that night. and i was completely sober, and danced my ass off, and had an AMAZING time. it was a great night...wish i could relive it. but am looking forward to finally seeing this show as the vid i spent days downloading just didn't work on my computer. thanks for putting it up!

  4. 33 fine brews in one....i new it was schlitz, and i knew it was old milwaukee..but what else is it? newrider? your PBR expertise is needed......and they actually let you on the internet at work?! no wonder you like your job so much. hey, they let me on too. no wonder i like MY job so much!

  5. i don't think i get the point here. are you talking about food that will absorb the alcohol you'll drink later, thus allowing you to drink more than normal before you're too drunk

    OR

are you talking about foods that will nourish you but not force you to drink more than the normal amount to get drunk?

  6. i heard Ricky Nue is back on the ciggarettes again...pretty cool move if you ask me

I heard he hasn't woken up before 2 in the afternoon in over 6 months!

    go Ricky!

the same could be said for you my friend! go paisley!

question - how late will this be running? edit to add....answered! gotta read ALL the posts

  7. i'm SO GLAD someone agrees with me in regards to how much this movie COMPLETELY SUCKS.

i saw it with my mum in theatres when it first came out. don't worry lex, you're not missing a thing by skipping the ending. my mum wanted to leave the theatre, but with 20 minutes left, and the price we'd paid to get in, plus out $3 a piece bottles of water, i was stayin till the end. i think seeing the end, and seeing how nothing really ties together and more questions are raised would only infuriate you more than you already are.

no matter what you've read from critics, it's wrong. this movie isn't like lord of the rings, it isn't worth the nominations and acclimation it got. don't waste your time.

  8. i think the fact that a show is picked out of hundreds or thousands or however many shows to be sold as a livephish release is convincing enough personally....especially when it's a retrospective choice, rather than a "we haven't put an album out in a few years but need to keep attention on our tour" choice like some bands live releases.

  9. wow phorbsie...i never knew you could be so fiesty!

i don't think, if you're an expert at something, like say you're REALLY into good music, you aren't going to listen to a britney spears track....or say you're a reader, really into the good stuff, you aren't going to go back to reading RL Stine and Babysitters club books. So the guy's a trained chef, and he knows all the wonderful things that can be done with food, what's so wrong with the guy wanting the best

i like seeing MOBE's recipes....i've never tried one, cause they always have way too many ingredients that i don't have....but one day i will.

i don't eat processed food anymore...couldn't pay me to eat a kraft single or a hot dog...i eat a hot dog once a year, and that's in homage to a special memory i have. my father would take me to this really old little trailer thingy that made 12 inch hot dogs when i was a kid. it had a counter and all these old pop bottles they'd served, one of each kind since they opened...and there are business cards everythere, all over the walls, and the 3 tables in the place have every inch of surface carved with initials....so turns out my dad got buried in a cemetery right next to the place. so when i visit my dad on his death anniversary i get a hot dog at eaterbrooks. a wonderdog, with bacon, processed cheese, tomatoes and onions...except for the veggies i don't eat any of that stuff anymore, and this year it made me feel like crap afterwords...but totally worth it. to wrap it up...i have no idea what kind they are...and i've never seen a 12 inch hot dog in the grocery store, or a 12 inch bun for that matter. but if you ever go to the royal botanical gardens...hit up easterbrooks just down the street.
