  1. Since I heard about this gig I've been lusting after it. This sounds like an amazing night and I wish I could be there, the driving is just too much for me to do in a weekend. But if someone/body wanted to help a girl out with the driving who knows.

  2. I've heard an interview Ronnie Hawkins did on AM 1010 CFRB where he described everything that happened with Adam. The man didn't sound like he was being deceitful, he sounded completely in awe and amazed to still be alive.

Just goes to show you that the unexplored and unknown is still out there in ways we can't imagine.

  3. I saw the Bangles and the Monkees within a month of each other when I was 8 I think, then it was Pink Floyd on the Division Bell tour at the Ex grounds in Toronto when I was 13, but my most memorable pre-jam concert was when I saw Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull) doing his solo tour when I was 13 or 14. That was damn cool.

  4. i didn't see you there last night Steve, but I'm so glad you took those pics. I'm really happy someone got the 2 saxes deal on film. The more I think about last night, the bigger the smile gets on my face. I've really got to start bringing my camera to shows.

Hey newrider, silly delhead garbage face picked me and not you! na na na poo poo! Driver always gets the extra! If you had got the ticket, you would have been piggy backing Del all the way to hamilton.

  5. God damn what a good night! Thank you jambands.ca for the free tickets. Thank you Pete for taping, I definitely want a copy. Bela's got a brand new fan. I never thought I could enjoy a banjo so much. It was great to see everyone, that was definitely the start to my summer.

I understand what everyone's saying re: the crowd. i think I was standing next to the "I'm SO FUCKING DRUNK" guy for a significant amount of time. Kung, keep flappin that fan, there were a few times when i saw your hand pop up with it, and I thought "damn that's a good idea". Sometimes when you're dancing and the bar is crowded it's just sooo fucking hot. All in all it was good to see the place packed. It was amazing how quickly the place emptied out though. I'm pissed off that I didn't stick around to talk to the band.

So after the show, we went back to the PJC, then kidnapped the sloth and came back home to party hard. Was up till 8am (or so I've been told, the end of the night is a blank for me), called in sick, and am still shaking from it all. In fact I think it's naptime now. Thank you's to everyone for contributing to my great night and a lot of respect goes out to briguy for planning such a great event.

  6. A big meeting tomorrow morning has kept me in town, but I'm hoping you'll be comin to the big O with us on Saturday. I've got to drive through Hamilton to pick up Darius from my mum's on the way back from Buffalo so it's no problem to grab you.

  7. Hey there folks.

So I walked out this morning to go to work and all four of my tires were flat. You might know, the only day I HAVE to be to work on time. So a huge repair bill, and some co-ordinating later, my car is fixed. In honour of 4 brand new tires and a hard week at work, I'm fillin up the car when I go to Ottawa this weekend. Hey, if you work hard, you play hard, and Ottawa's the place for that.

I've got 3 or 4 spots available, and bonus points go to those willing to drive back into the city. Shoot me a private msg and let's get ready to party.
