Trev, we should get together soon... a) you moved to my neighbourhood and I'd love to hear your conspiracy theories!
Sounds like an intriguing, beer-fueled discussion to me!
-
You want a kick-ass Panic show w/Trey (and T.Lavitz and Page on different songs), find 11/11/93. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!
I haven't any cd burning capacity or I'd be happy to share.

Okay, I truly love the Coventry Pickle story--classic stuff!
And the photo--a moment captured brilliantly. Gotta love the action shot!
My only issue stems from the fact that I can't really tell if that's a pickle being hurled at the fellow atop the RV or of that's a projectile piece of poo being flung from his ass to the unsuspecting crowd below...
Think about it.

Connery: Could you repeat the question?
Trebek: Of Simon & Garfunkel, the one that is not Garfunkel.
Connery: I Garfunkeled your mother.
-------------------------------------
Alex Trebek: This is the sound a doggy makes. Mr. Connery.
Sean Connery: Moo.
Alex Trebek: No.
Sean Connery: Well, that's the sound your mother made last night!
Alex Trebek: Okay, that's not necessary. Burt Reynolds.
Burt Reynolds: Who is, ah, Scooby Doo?
Alex Trebek: No.
Burt Reynolds: That was a funny dog, Scooby Doo. He drove around in a van and, ah, solved mysteries.
Alex Trebek: That is incorrect.
Burt Reynolds: No, that's correct. He had a pal, Scrappy Doo.

Connery: I'll take Famous Titties for $400.
Trebek: That's Famous TITLES, Mr. Connery.
Connery: Not a fan of the ladies, are ya Trebek?

After Coventry, there's just no way....Energy-wise or money-wise.

I just got 4 passes for Wonderland--interested?

Please note this is the SAME pair of tickets I have been trying to sell for a week now...
-
The tickets have officially been spoken for--thanks everyone and good luck to those still looking for deals on tickets!
-
So they will be $125 (Canadian) per ticket if you live in Toronto (or have someone in Toronto who wants to pick them up). Otherwise it will be up to you how you want them shipped.
-
Kimmy! I believe I visited you last..it's your turn...
We had a great time at our campsite telling JD stories, by the way. I think everyone wanted to make cookies and dip them in milk (followed by watching Wacko's Wish at ten-oh-thirty, of course)

Kev, I told Carla we'll kidnap Bob & Lisa one weekend and come visit--Carla says we can play "Rock It", drink booze and she PROMISES to stay awake!
::
-
Dear Kev (& Carla),
I really missed you guys all weekend. However, you were there (and a big part of) the best part of my weekend--partying down with you cats to the Camden show on the side of the road. Couldn't have asked for a better crew!
Love,
Julia
P.S. I have Carla's umbrella. She'll get it back this calendar year, unlike the Skyballs & Saxcrapers shirt.

My gmail doesn't seem to be working...PM me if you're interested.
-
I haven't got the tickets in the mail yet, apparently they'll be sent out this week.
2 tickets for the early-bird price + shipping (mine & yours).
Email me at Patchoulia@gmail.com if you're interested.
-
Yo, Booche, please ensure the Passed Outs are up and out the door by the agreed upon time--they think we're kidding about selling their tickets? Fools, I tell ya, fools!!
-
Where's that "laughing til I pee" emoticon when I need it?
-
Yay, I just got a poster and two Festival Express guitar picks--nice!

To better plan your weekend activities, if you plan to see Festival Express @ the Cumberland...the showtimes are as follows:
1:00 PM 4:00 PM 7:00 PM 9:30 PM

I just sent you a message--but my screen froze. Please let me know if you didn't get it!

Can you tell me who you talked to at Famous?
This deal is not going to happen, for several reasons. Feel free to PM me if you'd like further details.

Their record company--the woman who has the contact name is not in her office right now, I'll check back with her later this afternoon!
-
The only way that my company would consider doing this is if there was massive email campaign that would convince the higher-ups that this would be a huge success.
c-towns--not sure what other theatres there are in Calgary other than Famous Players. I'd contact the head office of any other company that's there to see if it's feasible. Small chains probably couldn't do it as they don't generally have the equipment for sattelite broadcasts.
-
Oh, and, FYI, they're not broadcasting the whole event--just four hours Sat night and four hours Sunday (at least that's what we were told).
-
Now, see, if someone had responded to my queries about this on Tuesday, we coulda done something about it!
Actually, truth is, Phish offered us the opportunity to broadcast this in Canada. Unfortunately, the Sunday night conflicts with WWE Summerslam. And there's a contract in place. And the satellite can only broadcast one thing at a time (regardless of how much more successful this would likely be for us).
So boo-urns. I tried.
did a plane really hit the pentagon?

I find it utterly fascinating to listen to conspiracy buffs--conspiracies are only good if they are plausible (no matter how tenous the logic).
Bring it on indeed!
