Who??!! j/k Would you still love her if she told the "it's also a phone" story? Or the "my car has been stolen" story? I'm thinking of creating a website entitled "Basher's Follies"....
Basher was all offended when I wasn't thrilled with his ball (not the first time I've uttered that sentence)... It's a ball. Big whoop. I mean, "Yay!" and "Good job, Basher!"
Last chance folks...a beautiful day for a baseball game...gale-force winds, driving rain...thank goodness there's a roof!
4 tickets, VIP section, seat service (usually by a very hot & friendly server)
You can swing by and pick up the tickets and head straight over to the game!
4 tickets up to the Jays game on Thursday vs Cleveland...let me know if you're interested... Tickets must be picked up @ One Mount Pleasant, Toronto during business hours! I would go, but I can't convince my boss of the restorative value of eschewing work in favour of a baseball game.
I remember watching "Soap" as a kid and LOVING it...and somehow knowing that there was something risque afoot, but I wasn't sure what...it was just funny to me..
I watched "Freaks & Geeks" in its entirety during its original run (back when I had to tape it on my VCR if I was going to be out that night) and I loved it so much... Every since (10? 11? years ago?) I've always referenced lines from it...very few people get them, sadly...but I do it anyway... For example: "Baba O'Reilly" "What?" "The song's called Baba O'Reilly..thanks for breaking up the band, Lindsey..." Thank you, Seth Rogen..perfect deadpan delivery...
I typed the lyrics into Google...and it didn't come back with the answer. *shrug* Possibly because I included other info as well that I thought would make the search easier, but just served to mess it up.
I have a song stuck in my head. It was by a Canadian band who were around in the late 80s/early 90s (I think)..they had a female lead singer..the song is called "Smoke"... "Well there must be smoke or somethin' in my eyes Cuz I never felt this way before Until we said goodbye Until we said goodbye..." Anyone? I've been trying numerous Google searches but with the limited information I have, it's not giving me much...though I was reminded of some bands I haven't thought of in 20+ years (for good reason) including Cats Can Fly (Flippin to the A Side!), Chilliwack (Gone gone gone she been gone so loong) and Haywire...
The get together once, maybe twice, a year, to "reunite" for a performance...they've played a few gigs, over the years, since they officially called it quits.
Sorry if there's already a thread on this...the search only turned up moedown '08 threads. This looks sweet! moe.
