bouche
I've got this AMD going finally. I got a copy of XP and it would only boot into Windows Millenium DOS! what the hell? hahaha XP boots you up into Millenium DOS which can't read any of my drives because they were all converted to NTFS when I first installed XP in september.I couldn't run XP setup at all, because it needed a harddrive to install to, but they weren't available, all thanks to booting to millenium.(if you're reading this andre, i ran into the same shite - and to top it, those stupid-ass 6 MS XP boot disks die on the second disc here too.)Now, that rant was just leading me to a question...The clock shows 1150 MHz, it should read 1500. Do I have to flash the BIOS?
Harpua
Wow, looks like your popularity is going down, youve only got 3/5 votes, now?? I'm sure you had 5 before, then a month a go 4, now 3, wassup?
bouche
I think it was at 2. It's gone up one.It was only at 2 because of all your aliases and voting.
Booche
Well, I am guessing Mikes popularity is taken a beating because it was the 5th disk, not the 2nd.

TheSloth
Yo Mike no need to flash the bios just yet, I think I can help you out with the whole 1150Mhz -> 1500Mhz problem. Give me a call.
bouche
the stocks have taken a dive! ouch. Hey Sloth! I think there may be something with me running at that full-blown clock speed and my 133 SDRAM ram.....Whaddya think? After I re-FDisked and re-Formatted my drive again, my computer couldn't even copy the files off of the XP CD without freezing. When I selected the 100 MHZ option in the BIOS again, windows setup was able to work properly. I may have to splurge on DDR afterall. any thoughts?
