h Posted July 25, 2002 Author Report Share Posted July 25, 2002 it was a character he just started playing in drag clubs etc. and it evolved and he wrote songs and scenes turned into scripts, and it became a huge Broadway show before they made the movie. It won awards at Sundance etc. too. can you tell i'm pretty pumped on this this week? must get the dvd - the vid stores dont even carry it out here, they looked at me like i had 2 heads when i asked...
