NewRider
I just noticed today that Karl Denson's Tiny Universe has a show booked next Monday Dec. 16th at The Water Street Music Hall in Rochester, NY. The opener listed is The Nude Eel and get this tickets are only $10!!! I'm already going to Detroit on Sunday to see Karl so I'm not sure if I can make it though. shainhouse
If I didn't have an exam, I'd be there. I've seen the Nude Eel twice!
NewRider
I'm still thinking about going, but it's a lot of riding in cars to go to Detroit and back then Rochester and back. Not to say Karl's not worth it though.
Guest
So, who's heading down to Rochester tonight?! I'm really hoping to go... Just depends on a few logistics right now. This should be a wicked show though eh!
NewRider
The Detroit show last night was absolutely amazing. The Majestic Theater is a great venue with awesome sightlines. Rochester will be a blast tonight I'm sure!

I agree but I just gotta ask: was it hot as hell in there? When we saw Vida Blue there, I thought I was gonna die from the heat and humidity. Granted, it was July, but I was just wondering if it's like that all the time.
NewRider
OH GOD IT WAS HOT!!! The first set I was right in front of the stage gettin' down like crazy. The second set I thought I was going to pass out from heat stroke. They desperately need an air conditioner in there huh?

I hear ya bro.... great place to see a show, also a great place to lose 5lbs. from just breathing. This was the hottest venue I've ever been to (although Brian advises me it was still cooler than Phish at the Masonic Temple/Concert Hall back in 1993).
