Velvet Posted April 4, 2004 Report Share Posted April 4, 2004 So one of my phone jacks wasn't working, the one I needed for my computer/office area. Last Monday I called for a repair, and they told me they would come by Friday between 9-noon. The guy called/woke me up at 8:45am Friday to confirm the repair, and I waited. And waited. At 12:30 I called and was told they were behind and it would be sometime before 6. At 6:30 I called and was told to wait 'til 9pm. At 9:30 (after 12.5 hours waiting - remember the wakeup call?!??) I called and was told he came by in the morning and nobody was home, which was 100% bullshit. I was in fury. They rescheduled for Tuesday morning. Last night at 40 Main I tried not to think about it so I wouldn't be pissed off, but I brought it up to Mr. Dinghy as we chilled outside for a smoke. "I could fix it," he said to my astonishment, "how about I come by tomorrow and fix you up?" Which he did. I'm over the moon with glee. Thanks man, you're a good soul.
