Guest Low Roller
Ah, the Holy Grail of comic book collectors... Any other recovering comic book junkies on this board? I used to spend more on comic books in a week than I did on dope. The pride and joy of my collection is this little diddy: Comics just became too expensive and the market was completely oversaturated when I stopped collecting around 1994. Jaimoe
As a kid, I used to collect Cracked, Mad, Spy Vs Spy and Archie comics. I don't really like comics much, although I'm still a HUGE fan of these two Belgium greats ( and so is Davey Boy ):

Guest Low Roller
Asterix et Obelix is fucking brilliant, and Tintin was always a good read too. I used to read them all in French since I grew up in Montréal. Les Schtroumpfs was much more difficult to pronounce than The Smurfs.

Jaimoe
As I've said, I'm not a comic guy, but I do love these movies based on famous comics:
Stapes
Tin Tin and Asterix practicly taught me how to read in french, along with their peers Lucky Luc and Les Schtromfs. Anybody ever order any of the junk on the back of the comics? I always wanted to try out the X-ray glasses.
badams
I've got about 2500 comics I collected between 1979 - 1985. I've got them all bagged and boxed, but can never find the time to go through them.
