The Time as some know are an influential band associated with Prince's Minneapolis beginnings in particular because they were in Purple Rain- I want to say Morris Day is the lead singer. That song is also sort of a nod to New York city as the most notorious phone number ever. Apparently someone still has it. Just did a search and it is Morris Day, here's some more info . bouche Posted July 13, 2004 Report Share Posted July 13, 2004 There are 2 Afterparties scheduled in NYC as well.Tonight and tomorrow night at BB Kings. $25/ticket. there is no announcement of a performance (aftershow), but one is likely.It might be interesting to see The Time involved in Toronto's show.fu©k I can't wait for the 27th.We're having a prince listening party this weekend in Ottawa. Only those going to see prince in toronto are invited. Prince's One Night Alone...Live disc set is AMAZING! Douglas now owns it.BTW Delhead, this is pretty much a standard Prince show.
