tigger
Good luck in K-Dub,for an area with 2 universities and a college this town has an almost non excisting live music seen.places you might try are: Bomb shelter (U.W.) Starlight The two Irish pubs at Erb and King Tie on to a show at the Lanc. Small crowd and the door at," circus room."
mark tonin
Wish I could help you out bythebeach, but I've already got lots going on.I agree with tigger that we do have somewhat of a disjointed and underdeveloped live music scene in Kitchener-Waterloo, although we do get some good shows here. Two upcoming shows in Kitchener that I'm excited about are:Fri. Oct. 29 Burt Neilson Band at the Victoria Park BoathouseFri. Dec. 10 nero at the Lancaster TavernGood luck bythebeach.Peace, Mark

bythebeach
Thanks for all the suggestions! I'm going to look up all those suggested bars when I get home from work. The Nero show should be awesome. They are playing in Ottawa on Nov. 5 I may try and check them out then.
Bob_Vila
My 'aunt Cindy' runs the boathouse, but I think Shannon Lyon is doing the booking for her. They haven't had a 'full band' in there yet to my knowledge. There is a house piano though! very limitted seating, but a swell atmosphere and staff! Bob_Vila
i dunno. it has housed mostly accoustic acts and such as far as I know... but apparently BNB is coming this month so who knows? its a very mellow place. are you an accoustic sextet? i'm guessing not. i don't have contact info for shannon, but i'm sure someone else here does.
