Pootie Tang
I hear a can of worms opening, and it sounds like a big one... Haha..agreed..and many of us have had this discussion before...forget what I said earlier...lets appreciate it for what it was... On a high note I belive there's a 100 song box set + DVD of the history of "the band" coming out in May. All proceeds going to the Robbie Robertson Bakyard Hottub Fund... TheGoodRev
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Levon's autobiography This Wheel's On Fire is absolutely essential for Band fans. It's a quick read and immensely gripping and entertaining.
ersh
Oh yeah!! I had someone tell me about a year back that Levon was singing again... but didn't know how to take it. Really good to hear - all he needs to do now is regroup the RCO All-Stars, bubba.
Dr_Evil_Mouse
Nice comments in that piece from Levon about the Last Waltz. There is such an undercurrent of resentment that runs through that movie, which I've started looking for in the body language (or words themselves - I especially like Neil Young's "I think they get it, Robbie").
