I cannot say enough about the combined talents of this group of musicians. Top-notch. And yes, the crowd and bar vibe had something magical about it, EVERYONE grooving and smiling and celebrating the Grateful Dead together. Even saw old man Lazlo ssinging along to Friend Of The Devil. Esau Posted May 2, 2005 Report Share Posted May 2, 2005 I enjoyed this show alot,mainly because theres nothing like watching your friends playing music you love.I wasn't expecting to see the line-up on stage I saw.All the musicians but one I knew and had basically grown up seeing in the Hamilton scene going back to the late eighties.Really was a pleasent surprise.Members once from Fat Cats,Roadside Attraction,High Times & a few other local bands made for a nostalgic evening of Grateful Dead & good times past in steeltown.Great night out. larry_llama Posted May 4, 2005 Report Share Posted May 4, 2005 great show! thanks for the sbd/setlist/musicianlist/pics. i will have audience-recording flacs up somewhere before the weekend. the whole thing turned out pretty nicely. crowd noise is a bit distracting but them's the breaks. i may try to mix aud/sbd later on for a few songs just to see what we can get out of it.Mike I think you guys should come back sooner rather than later!
