seraphicserf Posted May 30, 2005 Report Share Posted May 30, 2005 (edited) To good music fans and bike-friendlies alike:This Thursday, June 2nd at Bandshell Park in Exhibition Place, the Community Bicycle Network will be co-sponsoring a Bike Rodeo and BBQ, featuring the tasty original music of:GUH (crazy mix of brass, bagpipes, 2 drum kits, bass & horns!) &WISER (roots-rock grooves - sax, flute, guitar, bass and drums... with a special guest vocalist!) Also, there will be a magical clay puppet performance (Clay & Paper Theatre), between the musical acts. Free admission!Great park with a view of the lake!Kick-ass stage!Puppets!BBQ starts @ 6:30pmShow @ 7pmThere will be draws for prizes from Mountain Equipment Co-op, Downward Dog Yoga, etc. Also, info provided on CBN's Green Fleet Program and Exhibition Place's sustainable initiatives. Leona on her trike) for that uphill ride home . Perhaps a black armband, or some such. Looking forward to it; Cassia's never heard you play, and is really jazzed for it, and I have the pleasure of knowing what pleasure to expect.
