SaggyBalls Posted July 7, 2005 Report Share Posted July 7, 2005 of all the acts at the jazzfest, the 2 acts from vancouver (and area) that blew me away were Sekoya and Zubot and Dawson. I'd heard a bunch of Z&D before but no sekoya. i was absolutely impressed. they're serious local talent. The only act in Canada that hit ame as hard - tightness, smart ideas, great package - are the sisters euclid.Sekoya is well worth the $8.seriously - check these guys out in clubs and festivals this summer. keither Posted July 7, 2005 Report Share Posted July 7, 2005 Definitely check out Sekoya wherever you get the chance.I heard they're palying Pepper Jack's while they're out East as well.Sekoya brought the grooves hard to Bonfire on Sunday night, and this band ALWAYS packs a serious punch.Consistently quality action!
