Biggest Fan
I have been talking about this issue with my few friends (me, myself, and I) for a long time. Now as reported by the Associated Press (A. Bergman 7/29) congress has voted to extend 'day light savings'. If congress is taking a vote on this subject then I guess I must admit I am full of hot air. Edited July 30, 2005 by Guest
Velvet
I wonder how many of your countrymen think congress is actually voting on whether or not to have the sun shine longer.

hamilton
Funny story: I once met a guy from New Zealand when I was backpacking around Europe about a decade ago or so. This guy's father worked for the New Zealand Ministry of the Interior (or some such thing), and was head of the team that was implementing Daylight Savings Time there. The biggest complaint that they had from memebrs of the public? That the extra hour of sunlight was going to cause their carpets and draperies to fade faster than usual.
