One psychiatrist told me about one of his patients who decided to commit suicide at midnight. To fill in the hour between 11 o'clock and 12 o'clock when the guy decided to do it, he put one of his son's videotapes in and it happened to be Trailer Park Boys, which he'd never seen before. At the end of the hour, he was so buoyed, so uplifted and so amused that he'd phoned the doctor and said his depression had gone. I kid you not."
