Jaimoe
I'm more of a Jack De Johnette fan myself. Jack's also a fantastic pianist too. Edited August 12, 2005 by Guest
Paan
I do like Billy, got a few of his albums. Some of the songs make me feel like I should be in a 70's car chase scene... great for driving on the highway when you're in a hurry.
Magnum
Along with Al Foster and Steve Gadd. Billy really helped forge that technical funk-jazz fusion in the mid-seventies as oppose to the straight rock-jazz fusion. I highly recomend Billy Cobham/George Duke Band "Live Europe in '73". This band features a 27 year old Scofield funking it out!
