This is insane:

QPR director David Morris has been charged with blackmail after co-director Gianni Paladini allegedly had a gun held to his head at Loftus Road on Saturday.

Paladini told police he was attacked in an office at the ground ahead of Rangers' 2-1 win over Sheffield United. He said a gang held the gun to his head and forced him to sign a letter to the club chairman saying he would resign from his position at the club and hand over his shares. "I thought I was going to die," he told the Evening Standard today.

Officers arrested 11 people at the ground on the day but later bailed seven. Morris will appear in court today charged with blackmail and firearms possession with intent to commit grievous bodily harm. He became a QPR director and shareholder this month.

Three other men were charged: Michael Reynolds, 44, of north London, Andrew Baker, 39, of Somerset, and David Davenport, 37, from Buckinghamshire. They will also appear in magistrates court today.

Paladini is part of a group of investors who invested £1.7m to pay off debts at Loftus Road. He had previously been involved in the game as a players' agent.
