We will have Moncton based artist Nick Lane with us on this tour. He's responsible for designing the current GTB merchandise as well as our current stage backdrop and all the art involved with the last couple of Halloween and NYE events. Nick is a genius. He is 5' 8" tall, 155 pounds, has no hair and acts out in public. He's looking for someone short, tall, with really funny knuckles. Anyone interested can reach him @ nick@grandtheftbus.com.

Thanks all, see you soon..

Is Nick the dude that tore down the kitchen cabinets at "that place" in Ottawa? If so, he's funny as hell...

Whoa! I never made the connection that this Nick may be the Nick from Alexis & Sari's afterparty a year or so ago.

Mmmmmmm...pink pasta bake. LOL

You're right Del, that dude was fucking funny!

You will be able to purchase "Rubarbicon" at all the shows.

Rubarbicon DVD

Grand Theft Bus were a rock band that had everything going for them. Despite their “rock-star†bad attitudes, their fans adored them, they’d toured several countries all over the world, and their record sales had always been incredible, the only thing they didn’t have was a DVD documentary…until now!

Enter independent filmmaker; Greg Hemmings. As an “acquaintance†of the band, he is given

the responsibility to produce a film documenting the making of their 5th album; “Rubarbiconâ€.

Inspired by music mocumentaries such as Spinal Tap, A Mighty Wind, and Hardcore Logo, with

a scent of Trailer Park Boys, Rubarbicon takes the mocumentary to a whole new level using what

Hemmings calls “improvisational non-actingâ€. The story of Rubarbicon was in no way scripted.

Various “non actors†were approached by the film’s production team, interviewed, and relying on this creative input a story line was developed.

Hemmings begins the filming process, capturing studio footage along with several live shows from

points around the globe. Suddenly, the entire project comes to a screeching halt when the band sneaks away from the recording studio with the album masters and are tragically “burned†to death in a fire at their rehearsal space that very same night.

Follow Hemmings as he travels the globe in search of the band fans hate to love, Grand Theft Bus, and the “suspicious†circumstances surrounding their disappearance.
