Sound Forge/ computer question

Hi. I got a new computer yesterday. I took out the Hard drive from my old one and, after changing it to a slave, plopped it into my new computer. Everything seems okay with that.

Now, the question part...

I went to use Sound Forge and all of my plugins are no longer there to be used. how can I get them back into Sound Forge in pulldown menus like they used to be?

is there a plug-in folder? In photoshop, you can just add these things to a folder under photoshop I believe. Simple advice that you may have already tried, but I needed to type something on my lunch break

Thanks bouche... I do believe I checked for such a folder and came up empty. I will give a closer look tonight though. thanks.

take your new computer, and kick it until it does what you want it to do, thats my advice for you my friend

the plugins might have been stored in a different location (different drive) on your old computer, so you might have to re-install them... that's all I can think of. g'luck!

Hmm, I think that is where I'm having the problem, with the actual reinstallation.

I guess to get around reinstalling the plugins I could try to move everything into the same location as it was with the old computer. Mayeb that will work.
