Sony Recall - A record turn around

Sony recalls all CDs with Root Kit copyright "protect" software on it.

This topic was posted on another board as Trey recalls Shine CD or something to that effect.

I am not a brat so here's the news in the link above.

That totally justify's going for downloads. Sony nailed themselve's with this fiasco.

hackers swarmed and took advantage of the Rootkit discretely installed by SONY and created a wonderful little trojan/worm that just renames itself with $_$filename so it would be hidden on your computer.

As well, the internet geeks also confirmed that some of SONY 's installed files interfere with open-source licensing (LAME encoder) and also PHONE home when you play a disc so they can track when and where a disc if ma'fuggin played!
