TimmyB
Duane Allman sadly left us behind far too soon.Today Duane would have been 59 years old, I can only imagine what music he would have given us if he was still around.TimFrom www.billboard.comTHIS DAY IN MUSIC November 20, 20051946 - Guitarist Duane Allman is born in Nashville, Tenn. Jaimoe
And if he were still around today, Greg wouldn't have been a mess for 20 years and Dickey would still be in the band... and Gov't Mule would probably be a bar band.
Jay Funk Dawg
Yeah, I don't think Greg would exert as much control over the Allmas Bros...which would change the dynamics of the ABB we know. musically Dickie and Duane still had a lot of ground to cover...that being said, who knows what would transpire between Duane and Eric Clapton ? - Derek and the Dominos certainly could have put out more albums? I'd say Duane would have been involved in all types of studio and solo work too; he was an ambitious and extreemely talented musician.
