Deeps
I find this article to be pretty decent and speaks to truths on jamming in general and the need for structure to provide a base from which jammers can jump.I enjoyed the hopeful parts that spoke to the real great thing the scene has going on, the pervading altruism that keeps us coming back and happy. These hopeful parts were not without constructive criticism as the writer asks the listener to be careful when defining music as jamband type music illustrating the need to go deeper and get to the true influences alive in the "Jam" music they are listening to.Anywho...check it out. Dr_Evil_Mouse
Thanks, Deeps - interesting read. Nice to end on the point of how important solidarity between bands, not to mention the audience, is to making it work.
SmoothedShredder
[color:purple]This article has far to much too do with Jambands to be posted here
Hal Johnson
Im sure you've had this conversation a trillion+ times on this board already, but it is high time people stop calling it "Rhythmn and Blues." It's very misleading and unfair to the artist.
