Basher
Well, after being a tad disappointed with the Toronto show, I was VERY happy that I got to see him in a theatre setting the next night in Buffalo. The day got off to a good start, as we immediately located some Magic Hat Numbers 9's (they sell it at gas stations in Buffalo!) and got the pre-buzz going. Rossolee and his better half knew some people in Buffalo, so we were hosted quite well in the afternoon. We called for a cab for 5 people to take us to the show, and this is what showed up. Yeah, that's right - we hit a Keller show in Buffalo up in a limo. Poetic. The show was fantastic, I will do my best to find the setlist, and the view from the front row was even better. The sound was perfect, except for the screaming 18 year old University of Buffalo girls. And now I have seen it all - at the show a sketched out kid beside headygouda and myself proceeded to smoke a glow ring. After that didn't work too well he bit it in half, sucked out some glow juice, and smoked it from the open end. WOW. Here are some pics from the show. Hartamophone
Nice pics, Basher. It's nice to hear some positive reaction after the mixed reviews that Toronto got. I'm really looking forward to the Albany show in a couple of weeks (which is also in a threatre and is going to feature a full bluegrass set from "Keller and the Keels").edit to add: I'm really wondering what a heady glow ring buzz is like. I'm guessing not too pleasing. Edited January 23, 2006 by Guest

Basher
lol Baj. The only reason my pics came out so well is that I was able to set the camera down on the stage. Gotta turn the flash off and have keep the camera perfectly still.

phunkyb
Great show on saturday night, was very pleased!!Definetly better than the TO show. Having Keller in Toronto was great but Buffalo's set was way better.Only thing that killed the vibe was all the puffing going on. By the second set half the cops in Buffalo took station in the theatre. Did you guys hear the anouncement before the second set started?Something about turning on the fire alarms if we didn't get our shit together.Tapes came out great. 12 row centre where our seats.Should be up on the archive within the week. secondtube
the first five shows of keller i saw were all in sit down theatres....i needed a good blast of keller partying...i find the quiet, sit down events lack serious energy...but the setlist did contain the hitz many in toronto were looking for....looks like you had a blast!!!
