long time runnin' Posted June 27, 2003 Report Share Posted June 27, 2003 Montreal is a great place to be this weekend. It is the Montreal Jazz Fest!!! There are several free, open air shows on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Pay shows range from $10 and up, and there are some big names. The streets will be crowded all weekend, especially near Place Des Arts, where most of the open-air shows are. All of the streets are closed off near there. There's no way to have a bad time in Montreal this weekend. Check out the free fireworks on Saturday night down at the Jacques Cartier bridge.
